Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 04-03-2009
There were a total of 228 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 4 March, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Amongst all the RoC's in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata that is 71 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, West Bengal tops the list with 70 companies. As far as districts are concerned Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered, a total of 56 companies on 4 March, 2009
