Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 31-12-2009

There were a total of 331 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 31 December, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 4 on the same day.

Amongst all the RoC's in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi that is 69 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, West Bengal tops the list with 60 companies. As far as districts are concerned Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered, a total of 49 companies on 31 December, 2009

If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Delhi that is 4 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Haryana tops the list with 2 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned North West Delhi had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 2 LLPs on 31 December, 2009
